Turn takings into a margin.
Compare low and high normal-day business margins and a bad-day scenario. Enter current values to estimate a conditional payback range.
A raw operating margin, a client-rounded normal payout and a bad-day loss are different outcomes. This tool calculates their arithmetic, with a conditional normal-day-only payback. It does not promise a daily profit or model event independence, taxes or current price modifiers.
Read the conditional payback carefully.
For the catalog Kiosk, ₦2,500–₦5,000 normal takings minus ₦1,800 cost gives ₦700–₦3,200 raw margin. The client rounds payouts to the nearest ₦500, giving ₦500–₦3,000. ₦150,000 divided by that rounded payout gives 50–300 payout days only in a scenario with no bad days, no tax and no other modifiers. The separate catalog bad-day loss is ₦2,000.
If the low normal margin is zero or negative, there is no finite low-margin payback estimate. A simple range is not a statistical expected return. See the full business guide for affordability and live-offer checks.
Do not assume the business calculator predicts future returns. Future event outcomes remain unknown, and the scenario excludes tax and changing price modifiers.
